Greenhouse Gas Management Institute (GHGMI) surveyed over 1,000 climate/carbon professionals worldwide about their adoption and use of carbon management software. The top findings are
- GHG/Carbon software is used by a minority of practitioners today
- Nearly 60% who had used software found it sufficient, while 1/3 found it insufficient
- The carbon market is nascent and use of carbon management software is not widespread
- Those who are software are generally experts in the field
